I have been in the district since October 2021. My main goal is to bring the district up to date on technology and ensure the students are using and seeing hardware and software that they will see in the real world. The main objective of any one working in the education sector should be to prepare the students for a bright and productive future doing something they love. Part of this position is ensuring the cybersecurity of the district employees and students. These are the things that keep me awake at night. The reality is that regardless of how good a system is, it comes down to the end users and whether they know what to do when they face nefarious emails that are seeking to harm them. I take pride in improving district systems on all levels and giving people our staff and students the best tools possible.
