HS English Teacher

The Summersville R-2 School District has an immediate opening for a High School Communication Arts Teaching position for the 2023-24 school year.  Interested individuals must have a valid Missouri teaching certificate in secondary English or an ability to acquire certification within a reasonable timeframe.  We want a team player who has a passion for helping kids succeed in Grades 10-12.  Retired teachers are encouraged to apply.  We operate under a 4-day school week calendar.

Superintendent of Schools

The Summersville R-II School District is seeking a Superintendent of Schools for the 2023-2024 school
year. This position is available next school year due to the retirement of our current Superintendent. The
Summersville School District has approximately 475 students in PK-12 and is located on 17 Highway
between Houston and Mountain View. This is a great location for those who love the outdoors.
Summersville has a reputation of academic excellence based on performance, college placement,
vocational placement, etc.
Position Information: Salary Range is based on placement on teacher salary schedule (Placement x 2.00).
Superintendent certificate or proof of eligibility required.

District Information: Assessed Valuation is $37,821,982. Tax Levy is maximum $3.00. There are 4
administrators, 46 certified staff members, and 38 non-certified staff members.

Part time custodian position needed at Summersville R-2 School District immediately. We need someone who has a good work ethic and can learn quickly.
