Why work in the Summersville School District?
Summersville is a small community nestled in the beautiful Ozarks region in southern Missouri. Surrounded by National Forest, conservation areas, and just a stones throw from the gorgeous Ozark National Scenic Riverways it is the outdoorsmans dream come true. Camping, floating, hiking, fishing, or just spending a leisurely day soaking in the sun at on the local river bank, you will never get bored or tired of the surprises you can find within just a couple hours of your door step.
The small town community makes everyone feel welcome and is alway eager to lend a helping hand when someone needs it. If you’re tired of the fast pace, don’t have time to catch your breath lifestyle, maybe it’s time to check out what the rural life is all about. We like to slow it down and take it easy and enjoy this life we have been given.
On top of all of that we have the greatest kids, they are so kind, caring, and smart. The hardest part will be letting them move on year after year.
With a wide range of extra-curricular activity always going on there will always be something to get involved with, there is always something to do that will touch your heart more than you could know.
With that being said, we know that our job is to prepare the kids in our schools to go out into the world and make their marks. Our policies and attitudes reflect how serious we are about the future that our children will have, and it is our jobs to get them ready for that future.
If you are the type of person who wants to make a difference in the world, and you want to do it while enjoying your life please consider putting in your application with us, we would be more than happy to meet you.
